Judge Delays Delacruz Murder Trial Until January 2018

SAN ANGELO, TX — In a ruling Friday afternoon, Judge Ben Woodward delayed the Capital Murder trial of Isidro Delacruz until January 2018.

The scheduled jury selection event at the McNease Convention Center is cancelled and will be rescheduled, according to the Tom Green County Clerk. According to the court, 350 Tom Green County residents were sent notices of their duty to show at Monday's jury selection.

The delay was caused by the introduction of additional evidence and the defense counsel's request for more time to analyze it. More here.
