Police Name Suspects Involved with Stabbing of Man on Malone Street

SAN ANGELO, TX — Early Wednesday morning, police responded to a stabbing incident in the unit block of N. Malone Street. Since then law enforcement has been working tirelessly to investigate the crime scene.

New released information has revealed that three San Angelo residents have been arrested in connection to yesterday’s stabbing investigation in the unit block of N. Malone Street.

Christopher Lange, 24, Selina Parsons, 22, and Danielle Huckabee, 20, were booked into the Tom Green County jail last night and charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly weapon.

The victim's name was withheld by police.

The charges stem from a lengthy investigation that began around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, after Police were dispatched to Shannon Medical Center for the report of a stabbing victim who later underwent surgery for treatment of multiple stab wounds.  The victim remains hospitalized and is reportedly in critical condition.

At the conclusion of yesterday’s investigation, Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division developed probable cause to charge the trio after learning the assault on the victim, who is Parson’s 34-year-old fiancé, was premeditated and that prior to the assault the trio discussed telling the Police that the incident was a burglary gone bad and the victim was stabbed by an unknown suspect who was wearing a mask.

Lange is alleged to have entered the residence while the victim was asleep and that Parsons and Huckabee directed Lange to the bedroom where the stabbing occurred.

The Department’s Street Crimes Divisions and Crime Scene Investigations Unit assisted with the investigation.
