SAN ANGELO, TX – Xavior Arzola, 19, has been officially booked on a $20,740 bond after he was arrested for Manslaughter yesterday afternoon.
Arzola's manslaughter charge comes after police arrested him for the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Victor Omar Duarte. Duarte was found by police, deceased, at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The cause, police say, is due to reckless handling of a gun and drugs. Duarte and several friends were handling the gun when it discharged and fatally shot Duarte. According to court documents, Arzola has now been booked on three different charges: Manslaughter, Contempt of Court, and two counts of Miscellaneous CPF charges.
Before Arzola was arrested for Manslaughter, Arzola had a warrant out for his arrest from the local municipal court and two Capias Pro Fins(CPF) for charges of Contempt of Court.
Arzola was booked on a $20,370 bond for Manslaughter. For his Contempt of Court charge, Arzola was booked on a $370 bond. No bond was given for his CPF charges, as those are paid through separate fees.
Also arrested on Wednesday, was Rajnikant Zaccheaus Patel, 29, on an outstanding warrant for Compelling Prostitution Under the Age of 18.
Patel was arrested by Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies on a warrant issued in Harris County. According to Harris County records, Patel has a court date in Houston on August 23.
