Sheriff Identifies Dead Man Discovered in Pugh Park

 

The Tom Green County Sheriff identified the name of the man found dead in Pugh Park this morning. He was Bryce Dupree, 24, of Christoval. Dupree was a 2011 graduate of Christoval High School.

Thursday afternoon, Christoval VFD and Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive man lying on the ground in Pugh Park near Christoval. Commissioner Bill Ford confirmed the man was seen earlier “walking around in a daze.”

Moments after deputies arrived, Sheriff David Jones confirmed that a 24-year-old male was found dead in the park. The cause of the death is pending an investigation.
