Intoxicated Man Goes to Jail for Assaulting a Peace Officer

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Thursday, 15 people were arrested in Tom Green County. One of the arrests was for an assault of a peace officer and for public intoxication.

Mark Francis Rauscher, 38, was arrested by San Angelo Police Department officers on Thursday at 12:40 p.m. after police responded to a call for an intoxicated  person in the 2400 block of Harris Ave. 

Rauscher was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 2:05 p.m. following a physical altercation with police. His bond was set at  $10,442. 

Of those arrests on Thursday,  six were arrested on new complaints, and nine were arrested for warrants.
