Midland Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault

MIDLAND, TX – Midland doctor, Mohsin Syed, 53, was arrested after charges of sexual assault were filed against him. A local news source is reporting that the original complaint was filed in December of 2016 by a patient who claimed to be a victim of Syed.

Police investigated the reports made against Syed, and submitted their findings to Midland District Attorney's office for review. The District Attorney's office then submitted their findings to a grand jury. After the grand jury returned an indictment, Syed was arrested on Thursday afternoon. His bond was set at $50,000. Syed posted bond the same day he was arrested. 

Syed is the founder of the Medical Spa in Midland.
