SAPD's Street Crime Division Find Narcotics and Firearms in San Antonio St Residence

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s (SAPD) Street Crimes Division and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of San Antonio Street, Wednesday afternoon.. 

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Judge Fred Buck, named 26-year-old Jacob A. Gonzales to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. According to a SAPD press release, Gonzales and another subject, 31-year-old Shawna Shipley, were located at the San Antonio St. residence. Both were detained.   

During a search of the residence, investigators located and seized a quantity of methamphetamine and heroin, ten firearms, and an assortment of narcotics distribution paraphernalia.  

Gonzales was charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance. 

Shipley was charged with multiple Third Degree Felonies including Possession of Controlled Substance, State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, and Felon in Possession of Firearm. Both were transported to the Tom Green County Jail. 

Additionally, SAPD’s Patrol Division and the Tactical Physicians Team assisted with the operation.
