Father Pleads Guilty For Murder of 4 Year Old Daughter with Cerebral Palsy

LUBBOCK, TX – Justin Chisum, 31, has pleaded guilty to the murder of his 4-year-old daughter, Kylee Forrest.

According to a local news source, police say Kylee was found dead in the families residence on February 1, 2015. Shortly thereafter, authorities located Chisum running around fully nude near his apartment.

Court documents show that Chisum had picked up his daughter Kylee on the afternoon of Saturday, January  31, 2015, to take her to church the next day. The following evening, February 1, neighbors called the local police department. Upon arrival officers say they spotted what appeared to be blood on Chisum's window. Officers immediately forced their way inside.

Police described the scene of the crime as a brutal murder filled with lots of violence. Captain Roy Rasset described the scene as "a horrifically violent crime scene."

The 4-year-old, who had been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, succumbed to her injuries on Feb, 1st, 2015.

According to several other reports, CPS, at the time of the murder, had an open investigation for allegations of abuse and neglect. That had been the third time CPS investigated the welfare of the minor.
