SAPD Arrests 19-Year-Old Wanted Felon for Firearm, Drugs and Stolen Property

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Yesterday afternoon, officials with the San Angelo Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division attempted to locate 19-year-old Joshua Anthony Puga, who was wanted on an outstanding 2nd Degree Felony Burglary of Habitation arrest warrant.

Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez said Puga was located near 13th and Oakes and arrested without incident. 

"During a search incident to his arrest, investigators located a firearm, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and suspected stolen property," she said.

In addition to the warrant arrest, Puga was charged with Unlawful Carrying Weapon, Possession of Marijuana <2OZ, and Possession Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia.

"Subsequent to the field investigation, Detectives linked Puga to several open investigations and additional charges are pending the outcome of those investigations," stated Gonzalez.
