Kidnapping Victim Arrested For Possession of Dangerous Drug

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Since our last update, 36 people made their way to the Tom Green County Jail, including one young San Angelo woman who was the victim of kidnapping on March 14.

Danza Nicole Valdez, 19, was arrested and booked into the TGCJ at 4:53 p.m. yesterday for Possession of Dangerous Drug by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. According to jail records, this is her fourth arrest in Tom Green County. Her bonds total $5,000.

Valdez made news on March 14 after 33-year-old Juan Jose Morales, Jr., a wanted felon, kidnapped her by gunpoint. They were later found in Weatherford, Texas, and Valdez was returned safely to her family. See our stories on that here and here.

In addition to Valdez, and out of the 36 arrestees, nine people went to jail for new crimes, 25 for outstanding warrants, and two for both.

  • Possession of Controlled Substance: 3
  • Driving While License Invalid: 1
  • TDCJ Holdover: 2
  • Public Intoxication: 2
  • CPF X 1: 1
  • Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon: 1
  • Theft of Firearm: 1
  • Possession of Marijuana: 1
