Callahan Sheriff's Office Searches for Shooting Suspect

CALLAHAN COUNTY, TX –  Clifton Lindsey is on the loose and wanted by the Callahan County Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly fired shots at someone on Saturday afternoon. An individual called 911 after he claimed to be shot by Lindsey.

As deputies responded to the call, they believed that Lindsey had barricade himself in his home, in a house off Hwy 6 between Lake Cisco and Moran.

A local news source reported that several law enforcement agencies like the Abilene Police Department’s SWAT team and the Texas Rangers responded to the call. After the deputies investigated, they determined that Lindsey was not inside the home.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information on Lindsey’s whereabouts to call (325) 854-1444.
