SAN ANGELO, TX - Early this morning, San Angelo Police arrested and booked 26-year-old Reagan James Holland and 46-year-old Dusty Cabel Lamb into the Tom Green County Jail. Both men were charged with Burglary of Habitation with Intend Other Felony after the duo allegedly assaulted a 44-year-old San Angelo man over the course of several hours at a residence in the 500 block of W. 17th St. yesterday.
San Angelo Police Public Information Officer said the arrests came following interview with SAPD's Criminal Investigations Division.
"Police located the pair at the residence around 11:45 p.m. after authorities were dispatched for the report of an assault," said Gonzalez. "The victim, who was located asleep in a bedroom, was bleeding and suffering from wounds consistent with an assault. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and reportedly told officers they saved his life."
Gonzalez added that, during the investigation, officers learned the victim was at the residence visiting a female friend who rents the property when Holland and Lamb arrived, entered the residence, and ordered both victims to hand over their personal property before Holland and Lamb repeatedly assaulted the male victim while displaying a firearm. The woman was not injured.
"Police recovered the alleged handgun at the scene," Gonzalez said.
She noted that this is an ongoing investigation.
Holland has a history of burglary charges. This is his 8th arrest in Tom Green County.
