Teen Caught With $24,000 of Meth At Eagle Pass Border

 

EAGLE PASS, TX – This past Monday, CDP officers seized over $24,294 in methamphetamine that a 19-year-old Seminole woman attempted to smuggle into the U.S. at the Eagle Pass International Bridge. The suspect was in possession of 1.21 pounds of meth as she attempted to cross in the pedestrian lane at the border bridge.

After canine units inspected the teen, agents discovered four packages concealed on her abdomen and one package concealed "internally" on her body.

The teen was arrested and released to Homeland Security Investigation special agents for further investigation.
