SAN ANGELO, TX – Since our last update, local law enforcement arrested 56 people on a variety of offenses, including Carlos Alphonso Galvan, 49, Jandie Yvette Sanchez, 34, and Ardonte Wilson, 17.
Yesterday, at 10:30 p.m., San Angelo Police dispatched to the unit block of E. Avenue J for the report of suspicious subjects inside a residence. Officers found Galvan and Sanchez at the residence and arrested Galvan for outstanding warrants, Criminal Trespass, Fail to Identify Fugitive from Justice, Evading and Resisting Arrest. Sanchez was arrested for Criminal Trespass.
According to jail records, this is Galvan’s 33rd arrest in Tom Green County, and his bonds total $79,500. This is Sanchez’s 27th arrest in TGC, and she was released at 4:10 a.m. this morning on a $500 Surety Bond.
In addition to these two re-offenders, Wilson experienced his first arrest as an adult in TGC. SAPD officials said, at 8:40 a.m. yesterday, officers responded to a location near Central High School for the report of an unknown problem. The officers arrested a 15-year-old female for marijuana possession, and they arrested Wilson for resisting arrest and interfering with public duties.
Wilson was released from the jail last night at 10:46 p.m. on two $500 Surety Bonds.
Overall, out of the 56 arrestees, 29 people went to the TGCJ for outstanding warrants, 23 for new complaints, and four for both.
