Weekend Arrests: Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Target Shoplifting

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Over the weekend, local law enforcement arrested and booked 54 people into the Tom Green County Jail. As usual, drugs and alcohol topped the list of offenses, and outstanding warrants. Included in those arrests were 63-year-old Lenard Charles Barnes and 27-year-old Susan Renne Schaffer.

San Angelo Police said, on Jan. 15, officers dispatched to the 2500 block of E. 31st St. for the report of loud music at 4:30 a.m. As a result, Barnes was arrested for Disorderly Conduct-Noise and Resist Arrest Search or Transport.

Also on Jan. 15, SAPD officers dispatched to Target, 4235 Sunset Dr., at 10 p.m. for the report of a theft in progress. Schaffer was arrested for Theft Property >=$100<$750.

Overall, out of the 54 arrests, 29 people had outstanding warrants, 22 had new complaints, and four arrestees had both.

  • Open Container—Alcohol: 1
  • Disorderly Conduct—Noise: 1
  • Resisting Arrest: 1
  • Assault Family/Household Member: 1
  • Theft Class C: 1
  • Disorderly Conduct Fighting: 1
