Colorado City Officer Resigns After Getting DWI

 

COLORADO CITY, TX - On Tuesday afternoon, former Officer Enis Ortiz was charged with a DWI while off duty in Lubbock.

According to a local news source, Ortiz submitted his resignation to the Colorado City Police Department; Chief Luis Aguilar is said to have accepted the resignation that same day.

It is unknown how long Ortiz worked for the department. He was released after posting a $3,500 bail.
