Brownwood Man Get 25 Years for Sexual Assault of a Child

 

BROWNWOOD, TX- A Brownwood man will be spending the next 25 years of his life in prison.

Dan Ross Olin, Jr., 42, was put behind bars for sexually abusing two young girls over the course of a year.

A jury on Friday evening, Dec. 9, found Olin guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a young child. The jury determined that Olin had sexually assaulted two girls under the age of 14 between Oct. 2014 and Oct. 2015.

NewsWest 9 reported, “Olin turned himself in to Brown County authorities in March after he was indicted on the sexual assault charges.”

When his mugshot was taken in March, after turning himself in, Olin had bruises and cuts on his face.

NewsWest 9 said, “According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Olin was beaten up by another inmate who was arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.”
