San Angelo Man Arrested for 11 Grams of Meth

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - On Nov. 3, Tom Green County Sheriff's deputies arrested a San Angelo man who had a little over 11 grams of methamphetamine on his person.

TGCSO officials said, on that day, deputies executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in the 1800 Block of South Hill Street in San Angelo. Danny Gaitan was located inside the residence. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 >1G < 4G.

"Gaitan was searched and a little over 11 grams of methamphetamine was located on his person," said TGCSO. "During the search of the residence, items used in the distribution of illegal substances were located and seized."  

Gaitan was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on an additional charge of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, over four grams and under 200 grams.

This is his 21st arrest in TGC. Gaitan's previous crimes include assault family violence, criminal trespass, terroristic threat, parole violation and more.
