Arrests: Indecent Exposure, Public Intoxication and Children Left in Vehicle

SAN ANGELO, TX – Since our last update, local law enforcement arrested 55 people in Tom Green County. Included in those arrests were Christopher Everett Marsh, 28, and Marcus Gonzalez, 26.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for the San Angelo Police Department, said Marsh was arrested for Indecent Exposure on Nov. 1.

At around 11:19 a.m. on that day, police were dispatched to Jack’s Convenience Store, 2 N. Koenigheim, for the reported offense. Apparently, Marsh pulled down his pants “in order to defecate, and exposed his genitals in the process.”

On that same day, Marsh was released; however, yesterday, the day after his initial arrest, police took him into custody again for Public Intoxication. According to jail records, he was released once more at 6:49 a.m. this morning on a $442 Surety Bond.

This is Marsh’s 7th arrest in TGC.

As for Gonzalez, the 28-year-old man was arrested for leaving children in a vehicle, and for an outstanding warrant for driving with an invalid license. Officer Gonzalez said, at around 6:09 p.m. on Nov. 1, police were dispatched to the unit block of S. Chadbourne for the report of unattended children in a vehicle.

“Police arrived and located three children, ages 2-5, who were unattended and reported to be left alone for 30-40 minutes inside the vehicle,” said Officer Gonzalez.

Officers also learned that a witness observed the children exiting the vehicle, and attempted to try and keep them inside it to prevent them from going into the street.

This is Gonzalez’s 11th arrest in TGC.

In addition to these two men, and out of the 55 arrests, 35 people were booked on outstanding warrants; four people had both new complaints and outstanding warrants; and 16 people were booked on new complaints.
