Previous Constable Candidate Arrested for Theft Cattle/Horse/Exotic Livestock

 

TOM GREEN COUNTY, TX - Recent Precinct 2 Constable candidate Dusty Thompson was arrested today for Theft of Cattle/Horses/Exotic Livestock < $150,000, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 11:41 a.m.

TGCSO said the arresting agency was the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and according to jail records, the offense took place on Oct. 1, 2016. 

At this time, no bond is posted for Thompson. This is Thompson's second arrest in TGC.

LIVE! put in a call to the TSCRA, and is awaiting an official statement on what took place. We will provide an update once available. 

Thompson ran against Deen Dickson earlier this year for Precinct 2 Constable, but failed to unseat the incumbent of 10 years.
