SAN ANGELO, TX – Yesterday afternoon, a 19-year-old student at Angelo State University, Kristen Timothy Barnes, was arrested yesterday for indecent exposure.
ASU Chief of Police James Adams said at around 3:55 p.m., campus police officers responded to an academic building on campus for the report of indecent exposure.
“The officers were quickly able to identify the suspect, and he was detained,” said Chief Adams. “He was later question and then arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure.”
Chief Adams confirmed Barnes is a student, and said the incident involved Barnes and a contracted employee on campus.
Barnes was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 6:09 p.m., and Chief Adams said this investigation is ongoing.
This is Barnes’ first arrest in Tom Green County, and his bond was set at $500. Barnes bonded out and was released at 8:20 p.m.
Including Barnes, 25 people made their way to the Tom Green County Jail since our update yesterday. Out of that number, 17 arrestees had outstanding warrants, six had new complaints, and two had both new complaints and outstanding warrants.

- Fail to Identify Fugitive from Justice: 1
- Public Intoxication: 1
- Resisting Arrest: 1
- Border Patrol Hold: 2
- Possession of Marijuana: 1
- US Marshal Hold: 2
