SAN ANGELO, TX – Today was the day for San Angelo’s finest criminals at the Tom Green County Courthouse. These criminals who face charges of murder, aggravated sexual assault of children, sexual assault, and more, all gathered in Courtroom A for pre-trial hearings.
Judge Barbara Walther conducted the pre-trials in a full courtroom. Because of the rattling of chains and various conversations taking place, she had to ask those in attendance to keep the noise down on more than one occasion
Some of the more noteworthy criminals in court today included the following:
- Stephano M. Culbreath, waiting trial for Murder and Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Kimberly Nichole Linthicum, 32, waiting trial for Murder
- Michael Gary Keene, 21, waiting trial for Accident Involving Death
- Larry Paul Ramos, 45, waiting trial for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency w/Child Sexual Contact
- Anthony Andrew Baca, 27, waiting trial for Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon
- Jose Jesus Gonzalez, 42, waiting trial for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child
- Christopher Jesus Salmon, 28, waiting trial for Aggravated Robbery of CVS
- Jerry Lynn Graves, Jr., waiting trial for Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon and Obstruction or Retaliation
Some of these individuals learned there would be changes to their schedules.
In the case of Culbreath, who is being charged with murdering David Titus “on or about” July 25, 2015, his case has been reset to November. For more, click here.
Linthicum, who is facing trial for the murder of Brian Kyle Plunkett in June of 2010, will have her trial reset for November because both the defense and State need more time to review information that came their way (for more, click here).
Keene’s trial has also been set for February 2017. The Department of Public Safety is doing additional testing in that case (see his story here).
Additionally, Salmon will have his case set for plea by the court. For his story, visit here.
In addition to these offenders, one San Angelo woman, Jordan Elizabeth Sheen, 21, who attended her pre-trial this morning for Possession of a Controlled Substance, was taken into custody for failing to check in with her lawyer.
After defense attorney Stephanie Goodman informed Judge Walther that Sheen had failed to get into contact with her, Sheen was called to the stand.
“Have you bothered to contact your attorney at all?” Walther asked.
When Sheen, who had been dozing in a pew awaiting her turn, answered no, Walther informed her she would be placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant. Sheen appeared a little confused during the process.
Sheen has an additional pre-trial set for Oct. 12.
