San Angelo Man Pleads Guilty/Gets 9 Years in Prison for Sexual Indecency with Child

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 59-year-old San Angelo man, Rudolph Raymond Hernandez, pleaded guilty yesterday in Judge Ben Woodward’s 119th District court for two counts of Indecency with a Child with Sexual Contact. These are second degree felonies that result in confinement in TDCJ for a term not to exceed 20 years, or less than 2 years, and a fine not to exceed $10,000.

With his plea, Hernandez received a prison sentence of nine years. He received credit for time served from July 17, 2015 to Oct. 1, 2015. Hernandez was also ordered to register as a sex offender.

According to court records, on or about the 30th day of July, 2014, Hernandez engaged in sexual contact with a child younger than 17 years of age.

After court, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office took Hernandez into custody and transported him to the Tom Green County Jail where he will be transported to a TDCJ facility.
