SAN ANGELO, TX - In the past 48 hours, local law enforcement made 51 arrests. Last night, at 9:42 p.m. and 11:44 p.m., Ricky Ray Ortegon Zuniga, 25, and Justin Gamez, 27, were booked into the Tom Green County Jail on charges of Murder and Capital Murder of Multiple Persons.
Additionally, James Curtis Bauerlein, 64, made his way to the TGCJ on Sept. 12, and was booked at 7:40 p.m. for Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon and Disorderly Conduct-Abusive Language.
Currently, LIVE! is waiting for more details from the San Angelo Police Department on these arrests and will provide an update once available.
What we do know is that no bond has been set for either Zuniga or Gamez. Bauerlein’s is set at $20,392, and he has a court fine of $196.
This is Zuniga’s 11th arrest in TGC, and Gamez’s 10th arrest. Bauerlein has also been arrested 10 times in TGC.
Including these arrests, and out of the 51, 27 people were arrested on outstanding warrants, 22 on new complaints, and two people went to jail for both new complaints and warrants.

Update 9:50 a.m.
This morning, the San Angelo Police Department confirmed that Zuniga and Gamez were arrested in connection to Monday night’s fatal shooting that occurred at a residence in the 1000 block of Rio Grande Street.
Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for SAPD, said Zuniga and Gamez were arrested Tuesday evening and charged with Murder.
"The victims were also identified as 28-year-old Jimmy Andrew Gonzales and 28-year-old Anthony Martinez of San Angelo," added Gonzalez.
This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information will be released at this time, said Gonzalez.
