SAPD Captures 34-Year-Old Wanted Felon after Foot Pursuit

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo Police arrested 34-year-old Michael Todd Holleman, Jr. wanted on an outstanding parole violation and took him into custody after a brief foot chase yesterday afternoon.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer, said officers, at around 5 p.m., responded to the 1500 block of S. David Street for the report of an unwanted subject. When they arrived, officers found Holleman sitting inside a vehicle, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for motion to revoke/parole violation.

"Officers approached the man and asked if he was Holleman and he replied yes," said Gonzalez. "When Officers advised Holleman of his warrant, Holleman jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot."

Officers pursued Holleman on foot east through a neighboring yard where he jumped a fence and continued to flee eastbound across Bryant Blvd. through Angelo RV and neighboring U-Haul Moving & Storage where he was taken into custody.

Holleman was charged with the outstanding warrant and Felony Evading Arrest or Detention with Previous Conviction. Police transported him to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.
