San Angelo, TX — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today seized more than 20 grams of methamphetamine as a result of a traffic stop on FM 2288 in Tom Green County.
At approximately 8:06 a.m., a DPS Highway Patrol Trooper initiated a traffic stop on a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer, traveling southbound on FM 2288, for a speed violation.
A subsequent search of the vehicle lead to the discovery of the narcotics hidden throughout the vehicle.
The driver was identified as Zachary Wilson, 28, of Gatesville according to jail records. And the passenger was identified as Camille Kennedy, 38, of Kemp. DPS reported both were from Midland, however.
Both were arrested and charged with manufacture or delivery of 4 to 200 grams of a controlled substance (a first-degree felony) and booked at Tom Green County Jail.
