San Angelo Police Arrest Two Men After Finding Heroin

 

Yesterday, two San Angelo men were arrested on narcotics charges after police locate Heroin inside a residence in south San Angelo.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez, Public Information Officer for the San Angelo Police Department, stated, “Yesterday, members of the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division executed a Search and Arrest Warrant at a residence in the 700 block of W. Avenue X.”

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace J. P. McGuire, named 68-year-old Mario H. Navarette to be in possession of heroin.

During the search, Investigators located approximately eleven 11 papers of suspected Heroin.

“At the conclusion of the operation, Navarette and 66-year-old Arthur Canava were charged with State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident,” Gonzalez added.

Members of the Department’s Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions, K9 Unit, and Shannon Medical Center’s Tactical Medical Team assisted during the investigation.
