Police Identify O.D.I.N. Firearms "Smash & Grab" Burglar Who is Still At-Large, Armed and Dangerous

 

San Angelo police had identified who they believe is the O.D.I.N. Firearms Store burglar and report that he is still at large, armed and dangerous. 

Police report that the person seen in a camouflaged uniform burglarizing the store early Tuesday morning is suspected to be 29-year-old Joe Garrett Stanley of San Angelo. He forced his way into the gun store located at 4119 South College Hills Blvd. and stole seven handguns, police say. The incident occurred in the early morning hours between 3:15 a.m. and 3:25 a.m. according to surveillance video.

A follow up investigation to a tip to police lead to a search of the Wildewood Apartments located at 3410 Wildwood.  During a search of one of the units, Investigators located a part of the uniform that matched the one worn during the burglary.

Police are actively searching for Stanley, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.  San Angelo police strongly advise citizens not to make direct contact with Stanley and if you have any information about his whereabouts, call San Angelo police at (325) 657-4315.

Well, duh. Were we to think him a pacifist pussycat?

The subject pictured looks strikingly similar to a guy named Quintin McCleery who lives in Abilene. He lived in San Angelo until about 9 years ago but he has family here in San Angelo and has quite a criminal record for burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief among other crimes he was never charged for such as stalking and sexual assault. He still frequents San Angelo as often as possible and is also very familiar with firearms. Coincidence?!
