35-Year-Old Man Arrested for Intent to Promote Child Pornography

Yesterday, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division obtained and executed an arrest warrant for Kelly Jason Turner, 35, for Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography, a second degree felony.

Officials said TGCSO investigators, acting on information received via an email tip, began an investigation to confirm the alleged act of promotion of child pornography.

"Investigators learned through interviews and other investigative techniques that identified [Turner] as a suspect in the investigation," officials said. "On August 1, 2016, TGSO investigators contacted Turner at his residence."

Turner admitted to investigators that he viewed, downloaded and was in possession of child pornography. Investigators seized over 25 electronic storage devices with over 6 terabytes of media on the devices. Additionally, investigators confirmed the electronic storage devices contained images and videos of child pornography.

"Turner advised investigators that the electronic media seized by the investigator could contain over one million image files and thousands of video files depicting children younger than 18 years of age engaging in sexual conduct," said TGCSO.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Turner and transported him to the Tom Green County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.00.

“The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office is committed to protecting all children, and especially those [who] are victims of this crime,” said Sheriff David Jones.

I think someone is in need of a hug and a course of kumbaya. I'm sure George Bush is to blame for this somewhere along the line.

I've met this guy a few times, he definitely is not right. I truly hope that no one bails him out. This POS should never be free again.
