Three juveniles assaulted a San Angelo man because he was the former lover of one of the juveniles' mother.

Tuesday just before 8 p.m. San Angelo police responded to the 1400 block of Volney St. for a report of a stabbing.  Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the victim, 36-year-old Jesus Carrasco.

Carrasco told officers he had been assaulted by three juvenile males and gave the direction he last saw them running.  Officers were able to locate the three juveniles in the 200 block of E 12th Street.  They were taken into custody without incident.

Carrasco told officers he was walking down the street when three juveniles approached him.  He told police the juveniles assaulted him and one of the juveniles pulled out a knife and cut him on the arm and head.  Carrasco stated the juveniles assaulted him because he used to be in a relationship with one of the juveniles’ mother.

An ambulance was called to the scene to treat Carrasco’s injuries.  Carrasco did not receive any life threatening injuries.
