At 6:51 p.m., San Angelo Police Department Control Division officers were dispatched to 318 W. Beauregard in regards to a robbery in progress.
While en route, the male subject, a man from New Mexico, fled the store, said an official at the scene. When units arrived, witnesses flagged them down and pointed out the suspect.
The man was taken into custody without incident across the street from CVS.
