Active Amber Alert for Missing 8-year-old Mabel Lopez

 

As part of its ongoing search, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking for the public’s help in locating 8-year-old Mabel Lopez.

According to Mabel’s poster, the El Reno, Oklahoma Police Department believe Mabel may be in grave or immediate danger, and there is an active AMBER Alert currently activated in Oklahoma and Texas.

Police are looking for Arcenio De Jesus in connection with Mabel’s abduction. De Jesus (image below) was last heard from in El Reno, Oklahoma.

The suspect is believed to be driving a dark grey 2005 Ford Explorer with Oklahoma license plates: 689 LHD. The vehicle is similar to the one below.

Mabel is described as a Hispanic female, 4 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 50 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair.

De Jesus is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 162 pounds.

The public is urged to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678), or the El Reno Police Department at (405)282-2121 with any information concerning the disappearance or current whereabouts of Mabel and/or Arcenio.
