Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Recovers Stolen Property Worth Thousands

A San Angelo man is in jail after Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division officials recover more stolen property, said a press release Wednesday.

According to the release, on Jan. 6, in a continual effort to locate and recover stolen property in recent burglaries and thefts within Tom Green County, TGSO CID officials were able to obtain and execute an Evidentiary Search Warrant in the 6300 block of Navajo Road.

During the search of the property, officials recovered stolen property worth thousands of dollars. At the scene, TGSO arrested Joseph D. Rosendaul, 58, for theft greater than $2,500, but less than $30,000.

The Texas Department of Public Safety assisted TGSO deputies with the arrest, and San Angelo Police, HSI and AFOSI assisted in the search of the residence and recovery of stolen property. After conferring with the District Attorney, efforts will be made to return the stolen property to the victims.

TGSO stated this investigation is ongoing and additional charges/arrests are expected.
