Sheriff Seeks Help Finding Missing 15-Year-Old Boy

On Dec. 14, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office took a report of missing/runaway juvenile is 15-year-old Wyatt Weinkauf, said Sheriff David Jones in a press release this evening.

Wyatt was last seen in the morning hours of Dec. 14.  Wyatt is 6’00” and weighs 195 lbs.  Wyatt has brown hair and blue eyes.

A clothing description is unknown, those who know him think he may be wearing a camouflaged coat.  Wyatt may also be in possession of a gray two-person tent and a Hoyt Compound Bow.

Wyatt is an avid hunter and has knowledge of Twin Buttes area and land in and around San Angelo State Park.  Wyatt has made comments in the past about running away from home and living off the land. 

Wyatt also has family and friends in the Abilene area, to whom he could have traveled.
