Brackettville Border Patrol Agents Arrest Another Convicted Sex Offender

 

Bracketville Station U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a Guatemalan national convicted of sexual battery, said a press release Monday.

According to the press release, on Dec. 4, agents apprehended Anibal Alay-Guzman, a Guatemalan national, at a local ranch. During processing, agents discovered that Alay-Guzman was arrested in Arlington, Virginia for sexual battery on Nov. 29, 2012. He was convicted for the crime on Jan. 4, 2013, and was subsequently deported to Guatemala on March 14, 2013. Records also indicated that Alay-Guzman has an active warrant for probation violation out of Arlington, Virginia.

At this time, Alay-Guzman faces a charge of illegal re-entry after deportation, and his prior order of removal will be reinstated.
