DWI and Drugs Top This Weekend’s Crime Report

This weekend, officials at the Tom Green County Jail booked 59 people, and once more, drugs and alcohol top the list of offenses.

In the possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and dangerous drug categories, 15 people were booked on complaints. As for the alcohol category, nine people were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and public intoxication.

The other crimes to make the list include driving with a license invoked or suspended, property theft, unlawful possession of a firearm and assault.
