Jail Traffic Slows From Weekend

Traffic into the county jail on Monday slowed down considerably from the weekend; only 16 men and women were booked into the correctional facility.

The vast majority of jail bookings were warrant-related detentions; however, three individuals were booked for new offenses, which included one charged with terroristic threat, another charged with pot possession and a third accused of possession of a controlled substance. Warrant arrests included several picked up for driving infractions, a couple for theft and many for failure to appear in court.

Twenty-nine inmates were released on Monday
