It was more of the usual on Thursday at the Tom Green County Jail: 33 inmates, both men and women, were booked on a list of charges that contained everything from assault to drug dealing.
Nearly half of those jailed were arrested on complaints; the remainder were booked on warrants. Those with fresh offenses included four accused of carrying pot, three charged with public intoxication, two charged with assault and possession, and one person each charged with theft, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and DWI.
Thirty-one inmates were released on Thursday.
