Police Plead for Info in Fatal Hit-and-Run with Skateboarder Joe Lopez

 

It's been 11 days since an unknown driver crashed into 21-year-old skateboarder Joe Lopez on S. Chadbourne St. and took his life. San Angelo Police, relying on tips submitted by the public, are still trying find the person responsible for the young man's death. 

In an effort to bring Lopez's family peace and bring his killer to justice, the San Angelo Police are pleading with the public for information that will assist them in locating the vehicle and the driver. That plea, as well as more information on Lopez and the incident, is included below in a video issued by San Angelo Police Department Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez.

The vehicle was captured on surveillance footage and is believed to be a 1997-2003 Ford Expedition, white or light in color.
