According to police, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of N Pope at approximately 10:27 p.m. on Thursday for the report of an unwanted subject.

Upon arrival, officers located Rhea Hunt and other subjects outside near the residence. Hunt appeared to be intoxicated and officers learned she was the unwanted subject.

During the investigation and her detention, Hunt told the officers she had to go to the bathroom. Officers told her she needed to wait--they were trying to confirm her identity but dispatch could not find anyone by the name she gave--but Hunt declared, “I know the law….”. After making her declaration, Hunt lowered her pants and urinated in front of the complainants and officers, exposing her genitals.

The complainants told police they were offended by the act and wished to issue a criminal trespass warning to her.

Police eventually confirmed her true identity during the booking process at the jail.  There it was learned that she had two outstanding city warrants. She was booked on one count of public intoxication, disorderly conduct indecent exposure, fail to identify fugitive from justice and the two city warrants.

In addition to Hunt, 19 others were booked between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, including two charged with possession, two charged with marijuana possession, one accused of DWI, one person accused of carrying an alcohol container in a vehicle and one charged with making terroristic threats.

Twenty-three inmates were released on Thursday.
