Dead Man Found in Middle of S. Chadbourne Next to Skateboard

Police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a 20 to 30-year-old Hispanic male found dead in the roadway of the 1300 block of S. Chadbourne St. early this morning.

The first officer to respond to the call reporting an “unconscious person” in the roadway determined that the victim had no pulse. EMS arrived shortly thereafter and confirmed the victim was non-responsive with no pulse.

Next to the body, officers discovered a skateboard, along with a part off of a car. The San Angelo Police Motors Division investigated the incident as a hit-and-run. Police are also treating the incident as a crime scene since the circumstances of the skateboarder’s death may not have been a hit-and-run.

Police said early this morning that no witnesses have come forward. The initial call happened at 2:25 a.m. Sunday morning.
