A pickup truck owned by Templeton Construction was found in the Concho River downtown. According to the San Angelo police, they received a call at around 3 a.m. Saturday morning reporting a pickup truck in the water. Fearing the driver may be in the Concho River too, police and fire department personnel investigated to find the driver or passengers, possibly in the truck or water.

There was no sign of anyone needing rescue.
By 4 a.m. Home Motors had the truck out of the river and headed for the junkyard. The truck was found in the 400 block of Veterans Memorial Dr., between Beauregard Ave. and Abe St.

A representative from Templeton Construction arrived at the scene and confirmed that the truck was stolen from them.
