Theft and Alcohol-Related Charges Lead Thursday Bookings

 

Twenty-seven inmates were booked into the county jail on Thursday, 13 of whom were jailed on offenses alleged to have been committed within the last 24 hours. 

The majority of charges was split between public intoxication and theft, each accounting for four jailings apiece. Two more were jailed for assault, while the remainder were picked up on warrants. 

Thirty-five individuals were released on Thursday, among the Toby Ray Fitchett, who was sent off to serve 10 years in the TDCJ.
