Local Offers $50,000 Cash Reward for Information on Recent Burglary

The owner of property stolen in a recent burglary is offering a cash reward of up to $50,000 for the information leading to the recovery of the stolen property and the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

According to police, officers responded to the Lake Drive area on July 8 for the report of a burglary. During the investigation, it was discovered that person or persons had entered a building without consent and stolen item(s). A video of the incident depicts a subject dressed head to toe in sweatpants creeping about, then fiddling with a door.

The owner is appealing to the public to assist police with their investigation and reserves the right to allocate the $50,000 reward among multiple sources of information. Any witness who was in the area at the time and observed this incident or possesses information is urged to contact San Angelo Police Department Detective Michael Gaeta at 325-657-4387 or San Angelo Crime Stoppers at (325) 658-HELP.
