Alcohol-Related Offenses Lead Wednesday Jail Bookings

 

Seventeen individuals were booked into the county jail on Wednesday, among them nine accused of committing offenses within the last 24 hours. Of those, alcohol was a contributor to a majority of the jailings, which including four individuals charged with public intoxication, three charged with DWI, two charged with possession and one charged with minor in consumption of alcohol. 

Warrants and commitments comprised the remainder of the charges, including those for fraud, theft and traffic violations. 

Twenty inmates were released on Wednesday.
