Man Barricades Himself in House Behind Bradford Elementary

A man has barricaded himself in a residence near Bradford Elementary in north San Angelo. Police are not certain if the man is armed, but have surrounded the residence with guns drawn.

According to San Angelo Police Department Public Information Sgt. Cade Solsbery, the police responded to the residence in the 2300 block of Senisa Trail off 23rd Street at 11:35 a.m. to a domestic dispute. The man who is now barricaded inside the residence was reported to have pointed a gun at his significant other, a female, and threatened to shoot and kill her.

The female victim managed to escape the residence and find safety, but that is when the man ran back inside.

“Police are trying to figure out what is going on [with the man]. But so far we have been unable to contact him,” Solsbery said.

The SAPD SWAT is standing at the ready should things escalate.

Why was this man even at home at 11:35am to fight with his girlfriend in the first place, why wasn't he at work ? ? ? ..... Ohhh that's right, I forgot.... He's one of these slime-balls that us the tax payer is burdened to support by giving him all the food stamps he can use or trade for drugs, booze and smokes, we give free medical benefits for him, all his baby-mamma's and his babies they have that he never acknowledges, and you can see where he lives... yes, us the tax payers are paying for his nice little brick crib so he can lay around all day and watch his Dish network (when he's not sleeping) while you, me and everyone else earns a paycheck that has deductions taken from it to support him......

for your information sir......he did have a job. just got married. was an amazing father with his stepkids. i cant and will not make excuses for him because i have no clue on why he would do this. but when i saw the nasty comment you posted....i just had to set you straight. ive known anastacio and his brothers for over 10 years and theyve all made their share of mistakes and bad judgments just like you and I. so before you post horrible incorrect comments about certain incidents....please make sure you know all the details before u pass judgment on their lifestyles. God bless you and your ignorance.
