Repeated shots fired calls, domestic violence and an arson rounded out a busy weekend for law enforcement, who put a total of 77 individuals behind bars from Friday to Sunday.
A majority of those calls pertained to drugs and alcohol, including five individuals jailed for possession of a controlled substance, five for pot possession, one for possession of a dangerous drug and one jailed for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Another four were booked for public intoxication, while three were charged with DWI.
Additionally, four were booked for assault, one of which assaulted a public servant, and and two were booked for theft. One more man was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits.
A total of 64 inmates were released from the county jail over the weekend.
