Warrants and Commitments Comprise Tuesday Jail Bookings

 

Twenty-four men and women were locked up in the county jail on Tuesday, the vast majority of whom were picked up on warrants or commitments. Only five were jailed on offenses alleged to have been committed within the last 24 hours, including two charged with assault, one with DWI and one with possession. 

Another eight turned themselves in on court-ordered commitments for various offenses invluding DWI, theft, assault, marijuana possession and credit card abuse. The remainder were jailed on warrants, some of which included various assault and theft charges, as well as another DWI.

Twenty-six inmates were released on Tuesday.
