SAPD Seeks Information on Female Robbery Suspect

 

The San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying a female who attempted to rob a neighborhood grocery store Monday afternoon.

On April 13, 2015, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a Hispanic female entered the Sunshine Grocery store located at 502 N. Van Buren and demanded money from the clerk.  During the encounter, the suspect claimed to have a gun in her pocket.  Although the suspect tried to gain access to the register, she was unsuccessful.  The suspect left the store and got into a silver or pewter colored mid-to-late 90’s model Lincoln Towncar.  

The suspect is described as having a heavy build, approximately 300 lbs., approximately 5’05”, in her mid to late 40’s, with brown and grey hair.
