Weekend Sees Influx in Drunk Drivers

 

Alcohol contributed to a sizeable portion of the county's jail population over the weekend, when seven drunk drivers--two of which were well over the legal limit at 0.15 or greater--were booked into the correctional facility.

Three more were charged with public intoxication and one person a piece was booked for driving under the influence and minor in consumption. Also reported over the weekend were five jailed for assault, and one woman, Destiney Baker, booked for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend. 

Five were charged with marijuana possession between Friday and Monday, and one was charged with theft, another charged with injury to a child/elderly/disabled person.

In total, 79 inmates were booked into the jail wile 97 were released.

I said it before and i will say it again Jaime Tankersley will not be indicted for intoxication manslaughter, anybody else of the wrong color would of been in court already. Hope i am wrong!
